What Really Happened to Chivalry?

I am going to miss the good ol' days when our grandfathers would've taken granny to the park, gotten down on one knee and proposed to her, with a sparkling ring in hand. Now it's not just about Online Dating... but Online Proposing via Twitter, Facebook and Youtube (Google Maps!)?? That's either creative or like putting the last nail in Chivalry's coffin.
