How It Feels [through Glass]

The Transient Spirit

Title: Transient Spirit

Another of my favorite pieces. Not the initial design I had it mind (actually the 5th concept). I stumbled upon this final piece after rotating the image and realizing it looks much better upside down.

I can't say exactly what this represents. It could be a transition from the past, present, future; it could be an exchange between two bodies, planets or a female and a male, etc. But what it really is, is what you perceive it to be. Your perception is part of the art!

I wanted to experiment with 3D holographic imagery illusion effect between foreground and background. Also I wanted to have a realistic lightening and reflection effect, which was kind of difficult using just a 2D program.

Hidden Features: - It is actually a dual image (could be read upside down...and also sideways) =]

Self-Sacrifice | The Quest For Balance

Title: Self-Sacrifice (revisited)
Total Design Time: 7hrs.
Inspiration:
Credits: I want to xtend gratitude to anyone who's photoshop brush i used (tree, cloud, feather, eye). accept apologizes for not being able to tell exactly which belongs to whom.

Artist Comments: This is so far one of my best digital art pieces; a combination of graphic design skills and digital media.
I started off just playing around with photoshop brushes and a vague idea and thrill to create something xtreme. It describes the 2 forces in nature: +ve and -ve. -ve describes a neuro-simulated world in which we are so caught trying to blend in. no individuality,.. only replaceable knots. +ve is pretty much the opposite side but the live in such a utopia we need to sacrifice.. unplug from this materialistic world. Hence the Question: What would you sacrifice to live in such a utopia?
