Cirque Du Soleil at Royale - 8/14
8/12/2010 12:04:00 AMInteresting little event coming up this weekend. I can't tell from the description if it's going to be actual Cirque performers or if it's just a Cirque "inspired" event, but either way it should prove to be more interesting than a regular night out clubbing.
On August 14th, Royale nightclub will celebrate OVO by Cirque du Soleil performing in Boston with a night “under the big top.” This nouveau cirque inspired event pairs Boston’s premiere nightclub with the Cirque du Soleil phenomenon, for a night of dazzling surprise performances, special guests, and cocktails inspired by the latest Cirque du Soleil show to hit Boston. Royale will bring the essence of Cirque’s captivating OVO production to the dance floor, inviting guests to experience the wonder and amazement of the Cirque du Soleil experience.
I used to go to Cirque every time they were here in town. But as of last year, I sort of stopped. Tickets have gotten a lot pricier, and I had already seen O in Vegas that year. Haven't decided yet if I'm going to see Ovo.
