'Skriniya' (Twin Stellar-Shaped Snowflake)

'Skriniya' (Twin Stellar-Shaped Snowflake) Inspired by Don Komarechka (2:1 Zoom Ratio) 1st Experience with shooting Marco Photography. 'Skriniya' is Eskimo for "floating snow / snow that never touches earth". 82 shots later and I finally got it. It's very challenging; catching the right snowflake, getting the light angle right, while holding the camera steady all within 20 seconds before the flake melts! Discovery: - Snow flake is transparent, not white. - A single flake is made up of 1000 H2O molecules - No 2 snow flakes are alike http://flic.kr/p/jqL7gY
